Hand Washing Procedure:
1. Prepare & Soak
Fill a clean sink or basin with cool to lukewarm water (never hot). Add a small amount of gentle delicate/lingerie detergent (e.g., Soak, The Laundress, or mild baby shampoo). Submerge your lingerie fully and let it soak for 5–10 minutes to loosen dirt without scrubbing.
2. Gently Wash
Swish and lightly squeeze the pieces in the soapy water using your hands — no rubbing, twisting, or stretching. Focus on sweat-prone areas like bra bands, underwire channels, and panty gussets. Handle lace and straps delicately to avoid pulling. This step usually takes 1–2 minutes.
3. Rinse Thoroughly
Drain the soapy water and refill with cool, clean water. Gently press and swish the lingerie to release soap. Repeat rinsing (2–4 times) until the water runs completely clear with no suds left. Soap residue can stiffen fabric and irritate skin.
4. Remove Excess Water
Lay each piece flat on a clean towel. Roll the towel up gently and press (don't wring or twist) to absorb water. Repeat with a second dry towel if needed. This keeps the shape intact without stretching elastic.
5. Dry Flat
Lay pieces flat on a clean towel, mesh rack, or drying mat in a well-ventilated area — never hang by straps or use a dryer. Reshape bra cups and smooth lace while damp. Air-dry away from direct sun/heat (usually 12–24 hours).
